Any competent pest control company will answer all of these without hesitating. If one won’t, that tells you something useful.
- What is your state registration number?Structural pest work is regulated state by state. Ask for the number and check it with the state board.
- What will you use, and can I see the label?Products are EPA-registered and applied per label. The label sets the re-entry time for people and animals — read it with the technician.
- What does the re-service warranty cover?Many companies will come back if the pest returns within a set window. Ask what the window is and what voids it.
- Can I have the plan and the price in writing?Before the work, not after. Get the scope, the number of visits and the total on paper.
